Getting my Shih Tzu neutered next week..?

But in the mean time, he is going to drive me completely crazy..He's a great, energetic little guy, but wont stop "humping" people! I know this is terrible wording, but I have no other way to put it..His previous owner didnt get him neutered for some reason, but claims she didnt really have a problem with him doing this....Ive only had him for 3 days, and hes driving me, my husband and our daughter batty because he literally will not stop doing this! I know its a natural thing for an animal to do, but I really dislike that I cant even allow him to play with my 4 year old daughter without him doing this! my daughter of course doesnt understand what hes doing but its driving us crazy. WHAT can I possibly do to get him to at least tone it down a bit until hes neutered?! And once hes neutered, will this stop for good?
