Is a DJ really the most important part of the wedding?

I always thought the person officiating the wedding and the two people getting married were most important. I'd probably laugh if someone told me otherwise. It is still possible to get married without a DJ. But you kind of need the officiant/pastor, and bride and groom. My cousin didn't even have a DJ. Her younger brother just played the songs through speakers from his computer! I never pay attention to the DJ anyway, either. I figure the music itself is more important than who's playing it. It also saves you money, too.
