Why is Westbrook always putting the Thunder in trouble?

I always try to defend this guy but he always make stupid mistakes. Shane Battier just got under his skin which made Westbrook retaliate to get his first Tech, shouldnt he relax right after that first tech hes giving gestures to the refs..I think he might go in to ball hog mode again...
